The proposed project is entitled "Large-scale universal behaviour of the Ising model". Candidates will also be encouraged to work on other projects alongside this.

About you

Candidates should have a PhD in probability or a related discipline. They should be interested in research topics aligned with the work of Christoforos Panagiotis, such as percolation, the Ising model and other spin systems, self-avoiding walks, or statistical physics more broadly. They should have the potential to publish in high-quality journals.

A lower grade offer may be made (Grade 6) with comparable reduction in responsibilities and amendment in job title to Research Assistant, if a suitable applicant cannot be found to fill the Grade 7 position.
