We currently have a vacancy for a Morning Cleaner to work 25 hours per week (Monday - Friday: 4am – 9am).

About the role

  • Through good attention to detail ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards including Changing Rooms, Toilets, Office Spaces, Corridors, Sports Hall, Stairs and general customer areas.
  • Maintaining Health and Safety standards using COSHH in line with the recommended instructions.
  • Refilling all Soaps/Antibacterial liquids/Cleaning agents, Paper Towels and Toilet Rolls.

<![CDATA[Sports Grounds Person (CC12833R)]]> /jobs/rss/click.aspx?ref=CC12833R /jobs/rss/click.aspx?ref=CC12833R The landscaping team at ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ have a grounds person position available, focusing on the sports pitches.

As a sports grounds person you will help maintain and provide on-going improvements of existing and new facilities linked to sport throughout the University. This role will focus on the University’s extensive sports facilities which include, not only the 15 grass pitches but also the below:

  • the running track
  • 3 artificial pitches (sand based, water based and sustainable infill 3G)
  • a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA)
  • beach volleyball area
  • acrylic and astro clay outdoor tennis courts
  • and the Push Start Track used by the British Bobsleigh and Skeleton squads 

This role include grounds maintenance, including planning and implementing – plant nutrition and soil improvement programmes, integrated pest management, mowing regimes, aeration, irrigation, and renovation operations.

In addition, the role will ensure that the provision of landscaping services is done in line with our landscape environmental management plan (LEMP), considering the environmental and community impact of all works carried out.

About you

You will need:

  • NVQ, GMA or City and Guilds Level 2 in groundsmanship (Level 3 would be beneficial)
  • Valid Category B Driving License 
  • PA1/6 Spraying Licence (or willing to work towards in first 2 years)

Further information

This is a full-time role, working 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.20pm, and Friday 8am - 4.10pm.
